Verm-X is a 100% natural herbal formulation specifically designed for supporting intestinal hygiene during periods of challenge and promoting general health.
Philip Ghazala, the Company Director of Verm-X was concerned about the amount of chemicals he was using on his own animals and was shocked to find no alternatives available on the market. For this reason, from day one, Verm-X has not been about replacing chemicals but about giving people an option.
The majority of customers use Verm-X solely and the company is very confident that with Verm-X you can get the results you want. Verm-X also has customers who use Verm-X and alternate its use with pharmaceutical products. Carrying out a routine like this is completely safe as there are no ingredients in Verm-X that would stop the work of or inhibit the work of any ingredient used in pharmaceutical products, or vica-versa.
As well as herbs to control intestinal challenges there are herbs in Verm-X for blood cleansing and others for gut maintenance. The herbs included in Verm-X have been carefully blended together to work synergistically with each other.
Verm-X Equine formulation is available in 3 forms – a liquid, a powder and a pellet.
Verm-X liquid form is administered every month for 3 consecutive days. Verm-X Horse Liquid is designed to be added into drinking water which proves particularly useful for owners of larger herds of horses kept together.
Verm-X powder form is administered for 5 consecutive days every 3 months. This form of the product is particularly popular with owners whose horses are prone to laminitis or cushings as it is simply a blend of our equine herbs with nothing else added. This also to keep the pricing low making this form particularly cost effective.
Finally Verm-X pelleted form is the most popular formulation. Verm-X Equine Pellets are fed for 5 consecutive days every 3 months. Although the pellets can be mixed into a feed they are designed to be fed from your hand as a treat and contain a small amount of molasses to make them extra tasty.
All three of these forms are designed to be equally as effective and are simply designed to give you different options depending on what works best for your routine.
It is crucial that all grazed paddocks, particularly used for horses, undergo vigilant pasture management. Picking up droppings will help but it is not the full answer. Paddocks should always have periods of rest for several weeks at different times of the year. Horse-sick pastures will prevent any control management programme from being effective over a period of time. Control methods under these conditions may show a reduction of infestation in the horse immediately after use but in a short period the count may soon increase if the horse is grazing poorly managed pastures.
Verm-X is completely natural and is ideal for horses kept on organic farms. The Veteran Horse Society recommends Verm-X for older horses.
